How do people get exposed to mold?

In most homes, workplaces, and schools, molds can be found because they thrive in both outdoor and indoor places. Mold spores are generally safe in small amounts, but when they land in wet locations in your home, they can begin to spread. You can find mould in the home’s moist, dark, or steamy regions, such as bathrooms, kitchens, crowded storage areas, recently flooded areas, basement areas, plumbing spaces, locations with inadequate ventilation, and outside in humid climates.

Is mold harmful to humans?

If you are allergic to mold and inhale a substantial proportion of spores, you may have health difficulties. Mold allergy symptoms include watery, itchy eyes, a persistent cough, headaches or migraines, trouble breathing, rashes, fatigue, sinus difficulties, nasal obstruction, and frequent sneezing. Molds can also harm human and animal health if ingested after specific mold species have grown in preserved food.
